'The thread that bind us...'(2017) at Memorial Art Gallery, Stockport
A collaborative exhibition focusing on the River Mersey from source to sea.
My work in the exhibition is an attempt to capture and consolidate in time the memories of overlapping gestures from my childhood; a creative act the reduces complexity into minimal sculpture elements of emotional tension, wchich I like to call Emotional-Minimalism. The process of making, therefore, conceals within the aesthetic form, the memories and gestures as I re-experience them in the present time.

Metal Work (2015)
'Sculpted instructions of how to make an aeroplane'
The work shows different stages of making an aeroplane using paper. It is an attempt to capture and consolidate in time the memory of gestures which belong to childhood. It is also a commentary on flying. In this case the artist argues that the possibility to fly is given by the courage of letting go and using a material that is ephemeral in its nature. Therefore, the two practices of preserving and letting go are reciprocally exclusive.
Materials: A4 Aluminium sheet, acrylic paint.

'Home' - (2016)
Mixed Media: Corrugated card box, video player, monitor.
The monitor depicting the artist walking inside the box shows the struggles of an artist to find its own identity and therefore his own freedom of expression. The work is conceived as an installation of many boxes where the artist travels from one box to the other.
